By SUBMITTING this agreement online, I agree to follow the rules and guidelines in this Volunteer Code of Conduct as a condition of my providing services to the clients of the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store.

As a volunteer, I will:

Work my entire volunteer shift, as scheduled.
Notify the volunteer services office, ahead of time, if I cannot make a volunteer shift.
Dress according to the volunteer dress code.
Conduct myself in an appropriate manner, avoiding horseplay and other distracting behavior.
Make personal calls during breaks, away from all work areas.
Follow all safety procedures and encourage the importance of safety among all volunteers.
Treat everyone with respect, loyalty, patience, integrity, courtesy, dignity, and consideration.
Review all materials given to me at orientation and/or training sessions.

As a volunteer, I will not:

Use, possess, or be under the influence of alcohol at any time while volunteering.
Use, possess, or be under the influence of illegal drugs at any time.
Smoke or use tobacco products in any part of the building or in store vehicles.
Participate in any situations of unlawful harassment, including sexual harassment and harassment related to medical conditions, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin or ancestry.
Use my cell phone on the sales-floor or the warehouse.
Shop or try on any of the merchandise during my volunteer shift.
Ask to keep any of the merchandise.

By SUBMITTING THIS ONLINE, I declare that I release the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store from liability for the use of my photo, likeness and identity in all forms of media and publicity. I understand that as a volunteer, I am subject to a thorough background check including criminal history. Finally, I understand that any action inconsistent with this Code of Conduct or failure to take action mandated by this Code of Conduct may result in my removal as a volunteer.

I HOLD HARMLESS THE ST. VINCENT de PAUL THRIFT STORE OF DALLAS OR ANYONE ASSOCIATED WITH THE STORE from any and all liabilities or claims made as a result of participation/volunteering in or around the store property, whether caused by the negligence of release or otherwise.
